Lactalis is dedicated to forming strong relationships with dairy farmers across Australia, and currently sources milk from over 680 farms across Australia, with some of these partnerships longer than 20 years.
Lactalis have undertaken an on-farm pilot program using a number of Australian developed assessment tools, including DGAS (Dairy Greenhouse Gas Abatement Strategies calculator), DairySAT (Dairy Self-assessment Tool) and Fert$mart, a program to educate and assist farmers to implement a standard approach to the preparation, implementation and monitoring of nutrient plans.
