The Fine Food Australia exhibition is Australia's largest trade exhibition for the foodservice, hospitality and food retail industries. From September 11th to 14th, Fine Foods returned to Sydneys Darling Harbour at the newly built International Convention Centre.
Attracting over 23,000 visitors, including locals from within the Australian foodservice industry as well as international guests, the event was a fantastic platform for Lactalis Foodservice to talk with our customers personally, and to showcase our amazing portfolio of dairy solutions.
To highlight our focus and passion for the burgeoning coffee market, our stand included a dedicated coffee station where we matched our Pauls Professional milk with leading roasters coffee blends. These included the beautiful Costa Rican Coffee from Silipo Coffee on the Gold Coast, Frankie Shis, Tulip Shi Dark Owl Blend, the newly released CheeseCake Blend Coffee by Jibbi Little and the amazing Grace and Taylor team with their delicious Swift blend.
The coffee station also provided an opportunity for us to launch the new Pauls Professional Smarter White 2% milk juggler bag, further enhancing our range specifically tailored to be used with the Juggler milk dispensing unit. With the addition of the Smarter White offer, the Pauls Professional juggler range now spans all fat levels from Full Cream at 3.4%, Smarter White at 2% and a skim milk offer with Pauls Professional Skinny milk.
Complementing our coffee focus, the Lactalis Foodservice stand also featured chef Jason McCauley, who developed and served a show menu to demonstrate our broader portfolio of cheeses, butters, yoghurts and creams in culinary applications. Our show menu included favourites such as the chia, quinoa and vanilla berries with honey yoghurt foam for a breakfast menu, crumbed haloumi with truffle honey from our lunch menu and ricotta, chocolate and orange cannoli from our dessert menu.
Another favourite with customers who visited the stand was sampling the speciality and everyday range of cheeses under the President, Galbani and Lemnos brands on enormous cheese platters. The stand outs from the platters were delicious and creamy President Triple Cream Brie and the flavoursome President Camembert as well as well as the more familiar products of cheddar, mozzarella and parmesan. The platters were definitely show crowd pleasers.
Over the four days, the Lactalis Foodservice marketing, sales and dairy technologist teams were on hand to answer all questions and help to inspire our visitors on new ways to incorporate dairy into their businesses.
